Vigía was born during this summer's wildfires.
Like many people, I spent hours trying to work out whether my family and the places I cared about were safe.

There was plenty of information.
The hard part was finding the piece that actually mattered to you.
That is why Vigía exists.

I pay for the domain, the servers, sending the alerts and the tools.
Every new place someone marks adds alerts, maps and infrastructure.
While Vigía stays small I can carry it; whether it keeps growing and arrives better prepared for the next fire season depends on a few people lending a hand.

I hope Vigía only ever gives you peace of mind. And that, if one day a fire threatens a place you care about, it is there to tell you.

There is no company behind it, no advertising and no investors.

A place is not watched because Vigía exists.
